Whether you are a master gardener or just starting to develop your green thumb, you can learn a lot at the annual Garden Fair and Plant Sale. Kick off the growing season with information about food preservation, the Coos Watershed, bugs and disease and more. Participate in raffles, and you could win garden-themed items such as a custom-built cedar planter, a bench, baskets and gardening supplies. While you’re there, check out the organic vegetable, flower and herb starts for sale, and take home something you can add to your garden. The Garden Fair and Plant Sale happens at the Olde Towne Marketplace on opening day. Proceeds go to the maintenance and operation of the Bandon Good Earth Community Garden offering garden space and utilities, education, soil amendments and expertise. Visit the Good Earth Community Garden website for more information on Bandon’s community garden.
